Turning Data Into Action!
As climate change accelerates, the question is no longer whether we must address sustainability but how. The architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing industries face the urgent need to move in a more sustainable direction by reducing CO2 emissions, cutting waste, and operating with greater efficiency. This shift isn’t just about meeting legal requirements; it’s about transforming challenges into business opportunities.
Join us at the NTI Sustainability Summit 2025, where industry leaders, innovators, and changemakers come together to explore and showcase how data-driven insights can drive tangible sustainability outcomes that can reshape your business.
Free online event: March 25, 10-16 (GMT +1)
Why Should You Attend?
Meet Our Keynote Speakers
Morgen Börjesson is an expert in Circular Economy and Ecodesign, driven by a mission to transform business sustainability practices across Europe. Morgan equips companies to not only meet emerging regulations but to build resilient, future-proof strategies for a circular economy. One of his core focuses is the Digital Product Passport - a groundbreaking tool designed to enhance transparency around materials, production processes, and recyclability. This innovative approach enables companies to exceed compliance requirements and actively contribute to a sustainable future.
Connie Hedegaard will start our day by providing a high-level perspective on sustainability and climate change, as well as how sustainability will impact and transform businesses based on her long and vast experience. As EU Commissioner, she led the negotiations towards the adoption of the EU 2030 Climate and Energy Framework and was also responsible for the 2050 Roadmap for moving to a low carbon economy. Today, Connie Hedegaard holds several key positions in support of a low-carbon and green economy, working with various stakeholders across private and public organisations.
In a rapidly evolving world, achieving sustainable outcomes requires bold innovation, collaborative partnerships, and advanced technology. Marta Bouchard will explore how Autodesk empowers organisations in the AEC and manufacturing sectors to meet their sustainability goals through digital transformation. From reducing carbon footprints and improving resource efficiency to fostering resilience and aligning with global standards, learn how Autodesk’s ecosystem of solutions enables a shared vision for a more sustainable future.

Breakout Sessions: Part 1
Shaping Sustainable Futures: Accurate, Efficient, and Collaborative LCA for Better Decisions
Discover how leading architects and experts leverage LCA to drive sustainable building practices. BIG Architects will share insights and real-world experiences from their sustainable design projects, highlighting how LCA supports better decision-making. Real-Time LCA will demonstrate an efficient, collaborative LCA process, offering a live deep dive into calculating, certifying, and meeting legal requirements for green buildings.
Technology as a Pillar of Sustainability
Discover how Additive Manufacturing (AM) is transforming industries and advancing sustainability. This session explores AM’s ability to reduce waste, lower emissions, and support localized production, aligning with Europe’s circular economy goals. Featuring real-world cases, learn how Additive Manufacturing is contributing to the evolution in aerospace component tooling and how innovative AM solutions are shaping the future of architecture, engineering, and construction.
Flood Hazard Analysis with InfoWorks ICM: A Case Study in Germany
Extreme weather events, such as heavy rainfall, are becoming more frequent, increasing flood risks and highlighting the need for climate resilience. This session presents a flash flood hazard analysis for the German city of Frechen using Autodesk InfoWorks ICM. A 2D hydrodynamic model was calibrated with BKG hazard maps and validated against the July 2021 flood event, achieving high accuracy. The analysis demonstrates InfoWorks ICM's efficiency, short computation times, and its value in climate-conscious planning.
Breakout Sessions: Part 2
Unleash the Power of BIM for LEED
Design professionals face challenges managing sustainability data, including LCA and LEED calculations. This process is often time-consuming and complex due to a lack of integrated tools. TEKNE S.p.A. addresses this by automating LEED credit calculations through BIM and scripting. This innovative approach empowers TEKNE’s sustainability professionals, allowing them to work more efficiently and independently, ultimately leading to more sustainable projects. TEKNE demonstrates how technology can significantly enhance sustainability efforts in the building industry.
1000 Hours to Invest in Resource Efficiency
ITK Envifront has elevated sustainability by implementing a tailored Autodesk Vault solution with system integration. This optimization has saved 1,000 administrative hours—now reinvested in developing more efficient solutions—while significantly reducing waste, improving production accuracy, and minimizing transportation through precise planning. ITK Envifront exemplifies how digitalization can deliver both business success and sustainability.
How 3D Laser Scanning Facilitates Sustainable Building Renovation
With increasing demands for recycling and reuse of building materials, 3D laser scanning offers a systematic approach to renovation and demolition by enabling “Scan to BIM to Twin” workflows. It enables the identification of reusable resources, while addressing challenges like hazardous materials and regulatory requirements. By visually mapping structures, 3D scanning helps unlock the potential for giving materials a second life in new construction projects.
Breakout Sessions: Part 3
Beyond Illumination: The Impact of Light on Our Well-being
Lighting is evolving. SIMES will guide us in discovering the potential of sustainable lighting, showing us how new technologies are transforming our environments. Light is more than just illumination; it is a powerful modulator of our biological rhythms. It influences our mood, concentration, and sleep. With techniques like cut-off and proper design, considering factors such as intensity, distribution, color, CRI and LED technology, we can create healthier and more comfortable environments, reducing our environmental impact and improving our quality of life.
Global Baggage Handling Systems: From Scan to Model with Speed and Precision
Discover how BEUMER Group leverages 3D scanning to streamline the installation and expansion of baggage handling systems worldwide. Using high precision scanners, they deliver precise measurements rapidly, reducing errors, waste, and rework. With workflows in Navisworks, AutoCAD and ReCap, they enable fast data access across departments, through all phases of delivering a state of the art baggage handling systems world wide. With high precision scanner, BEUMER can capture valuable information of the full project to ensure more precise planning and thereby lowering material waste.
Skygard: A Greener Building through Prefabricated HVAC Solutions and Material Optimization
