Course Description

This hands-on course covers the essentials of AutoCAD^® Civil 3D^®  2024 software for Road Overlay Design for experienced Civil 3D Road Design users, including examples of both urban and rural rehabilitation.

Objectives

The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with the concepts and application of the functions of AutoCAD Civil 3D as they apply to Road Overlay Design. After completing this course, students should be able to:-

• Create Rural Road Overlays
• Create Urban Road Overlays
• Calculate corridor volumes and quantities
• Create construction drawings
• Create setting out data
