Senior Business Development Manager - UK-based Role
NTI Diatec UK, a subsidiary of NTI Group that ranks amongst the largest Autodesk Platinum Solutions Partners worldwide, and an Autodesk Elite Construction Partner, is looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to grow our UK Autodesk business.
As the primary Account Manager in your territory, you will lead customers through their buying process, leveraging our UK Commercial Director, technical consultants and the implementation team to demonstrate how Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk desktop solutions can address the business challenges clients face in the AEC sector.
Strong candidates will demonstrate drive, passion, and hunger to exceed goals; have a strong acumen in working smart and working with your technical specialist colleagues to help customers achieve their business outcomes; and ultimately position our team as trusted advisors and key components of their supply chain. This exciting and challenging role demands single-minded focus, drive, customer understanding and empathy. The ideal candidate will have worked in the Autodesk channel or is one of the Cloud competitors of Autodesk's ACC platform.

As the primary Account Manager in your territory, you will lead customers through their buying process, leveraging the technical and implementation team of consultants to demonstrate how Autodesk ACC and Autodesk desktop applications can address the challenges you have discovered in the customers’ business.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new Autodesk ACC and Autodesk desktop business within Territory and Mid-Market Accounts through strategic outbound prospecting and driving high-impact/value-based sales opportunities.
- Effectively manage a pipeline of opportunities and take accountability for the pipeline in our CRM system.
- Deliver an accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast of business.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with Autodesk’s territory and mid-market teams, our technical consultancy, customer success, and implementation teams to develop, grow and maintain highly engaged customers as their trusted advisors.
- Evaluate the customer profile, create value messaging, and target critical steps to execute account plans.
- Engage in targeted discovery-based sales processes to align solutions, drive sales, and deliver business value.
- Foster relationships within the customer account, including Key Decision Makers, and translate customer challenges and opportunities into business outcomes to grow business relationships with our clients.
- Work through organisations at all personal levels to seek sponsorship, including C-Level, as required.
- Be financially astute and skilled in ROI sales methodologies, value selling and positioning value.
- Be detail-orientated with excellent time management and diary/calendar management skills.
- Collaborate with our commercial director, marketing, and customer success on appropriate and complimentary sales motions for new and renewal businesses and get rewarded for both.
- Proficient in MS tools and LinkedIn, as well as how to source and utilise data to create target account contacts. General understanding of CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Qualities:
- Strong work ethic: Proven history of high energy and productivity, team-oriented, self-starter, results-oriented.
- Familiarity with the sales process and selling methodologies, i.e., TAS, Value Selling, Solution Selling, and Outcome selling.
- Familiarity with sales logging applications via CRM systems.
- Strong strategic account-based prospecting skills and outbound hunter pipeline generation experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the Autodesk channel or cloud competitor.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive.
- 4+ years’ experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction.
Location:
Working from Home, with visits to customers as required.
Salary transparency:
Offers are based on the candidate’s experience. In addition to base salaries, we have a monthly commission structure for new and renewal businesses, a quarterly bonus structure, a car mileage allowance, and a pension.
